There are some things about DVD bundles that make me wish I had a) money to burn and b) access to ways I could burn that money to get shiny things. Some episodes in Supernatural, for example, make me yearn for a chance to listen to commentaries.

Unfortunately, apart from tracy_loo_who's detailed flailings, I haven't been able to find anything on Kripke, Singer and Edlund's The End commentary. I've googled and tag-haunted until my fingers fell off, and nothing. I'm this close to contacting stir_of_echoes, who was fantastic enough to transcribe the commentary for What is and What Should Never Be but I'm scared of coming off as crazy or demanding or whatnot. So can anyone offer any help on that?

You know what else is bothering me by being all "na na!" non-attainable? (No, it isn't any of the boys of Supernatural, because there has to be at least the illusion of attainability for there to be cause for the "na na!" dance.) It's this podbook and its MP3. I've downloaded both of them, but I can't get them to open. Winzip keeps saying "cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive" and WinRAR says "the archive is either in unknown format or damaged". Now, I've downloaded both files a number of times, so I know they're getting in alright, so I don't know. Is this happening to anyone else? I'd just like to check before I go all "waaah, I cannae get podbook!" to the audiofic archive.

...I'm wondering whether there's any community where I could pimp out my Devour picspam review. Just because it took so much time to put together... Must investigate further.

40 Days of Supernatural Meme: Day 34 - Favorite hug?

All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 2, hands down, followed by Mystery Spot. I guess it's the mix between one brother's desperation and the other's cluelessness over the why but melting into the embrace anyway. Furthermore, the way both brothers push each other away to arms length after Lazarus Rising's hug just kills the warm squishy feelings and Sam's lack of everything in Exile on Main St breaks my heart in the wrong way.

Sweets - quick question: is it T-shirt warm in Rome? Because if it is so, I'm basically fucked, I've pretty much only packed clothes appropriate for German weather. :/ IDEK, it's my mother's bad influence who snorts every time I say, "But it's warm in Rome! I've looked it up!"

Nooo0000oooo! It's not t-shirt weather! (Or, well, the only people wearing t-shirt are tourists, but they always do.) It's more of a jacket weather, or sweater weather. Not nearly as cold as in Germany, but definitely "ooh, I do believe it's autumn". I mean, it looks like we're only going to be in the less-than-20 degrees, and you're going to be outside a lot, or in giant marble ruins, and it will be cool, so bring something to snuggle in.

Thanks, love, you're a doll! This really helped! I've forgotten how exhausting packing can be, Jesus, I feel completely drained. And I already know I've packed much too much, but what if I spill coffee all over myself (it's been known to happen), or fall into some kind of gigantic puddle of mud (also been known to happen) or IDK OKAY. I once spilled coffee all down my pants just before class. Worst thing, I was staying at a youth hostel at the time (long story) and all my clothes were in a suitcase at the train station in a locker. Cue Sickle walking all the way back, lugging out clothes, changing in the bathroom, and paying the locker again for its use.

Ooh! Pack an umbrella. Just in case. Rome in autumn can be wet.

And shiny, your hotel's pretty close to where my internship is!
