Day 2 - A Main protagonist’s love interest(s), their bio(s).
You wouldn't think it to look at them, but Steve and Icarus had their similarities.
Down on paper, they couldn't be more different. When Steve had been a cheeky boy from Bowen Island, skinning his knee in the woods and hopping over fishing lines, Icarus was a multidimensional wavelength humming hosannas in one corner of Heaven. When Steve went to college across the border and discovered economics and weed and the big city of Seattle, Icarus was praising his Father, ever unseen. When Steve reveled in a new relationship he could see being new forever, Icarus was watching his brothers and sisters whisper around him and without him. When Steve struggled with the distance and the absence, Icarus fought in a war and saw his kin fall. Steve lay in bed with Chip when Icarus chose man over God. Steve waited by the luggage belt when Icarus paid for that choice.
But life isn't lived on paper.
The world ended as Steve found himself fighting against a world gone mad, the man he would always choose fighting alongside him. Miles away, Icarus was doing the same. The war was hard on both of them, and seeing their chosen companion become brittle under the pressure made it harder still. One of them was taken, one of them fell. Neither of them would ever take to the sky and reach home.
When Icarus bled himself half to death in the back of Chip's car, it was over Steve's weathered bloodstain. When Icarus stumbled down worn dirt paths to a cabin, Chip's muscle memory knew what to do. And when Icarus molded himself against Chip's side, his heart remembered what to do, too.

Nathan Fillion is the reason I started watching Castle, Summer Glau's the reason I watched Terminat;r; The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I'll be watching Ringer for Sarah Michelle Geller, and I will probably get down to watching The Bid G for Laura Linney. So I'm pretty easy. Or faithful. One of those.
04. Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
...no one? No, wait, yes. David Caruso. If not for him, I might even find CSI: Miami watchable.

I CAN'T DO FAVOURITES. Much les favourites of favourites. But "Jaynestown" and "Out of Gas" are up there for Firefly, "Blink" and anything-with-Donna is up there for Doctor Who, and "What is and What Should Never Be" is up there for Supernatural. Don't make me narrow things more.
12. Name a show you keep meaning to watch but you just haven’t gotten around to yet:
Merlin, Medium and BSG. I also have the last season of Dharma and Greg crying at me from a sad little corner.
13. Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
I WATCHED ALL OF HEROES. So that's a no. I have, however, lost touch with shows due to not being able to keep up with oodles of hours of television. Ah, House, Bones and CSI.

...I can't really remember crying to television in a long time. I'll cry at the drop of a hat, but not so much with the television because I'm often so caught up with things... ALthough, mind, Love, Actually will always make me cry.
15. What do you eat when you watch TV?
...nothing. It's my last-thing-of-the-day, lying-in-bed thing.
16. How often do you watch TV?
I'm trying to squeeze in an episode a day but that's not working out so hot. *shakes fist at the gods of time*

Buffy. It's a rewatch thing. But usually it's True Blood. Mainly because it's the summer so everyone else is on hiatus. Even Doctor Who, the rat bastards. They were supposed to be my summer staple!

Science-fiction and fantasy. Or basically OH HAI MONSTERS AND ANGST. That or DEAD BODIES AND HOW THEY DIED.
19. What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
X-Men: The Animated Series. My brother and I woudl run to the TV at 7 pm on the dot.
20. What TV show do you wish you never watched?
...I regret nothing.

Anyting by MTV or involving make-overs or houses or things like that. I don't even know why I watched it.

Doctor Who (Blink) and Supernatural (Bloody Mary & Hookman). Scarred for life.

...all of them? Or, well, Buffy was consistently funny, Firefly had hilarious bits, Doctor Who's "Partners in Crime" will never not make me guffaw, and Supernatural has made me snorfle many a time.

- I'm still on my Bufy the Vampire Slayer rewatch kick and keep discovering things. Like I was watching I Robot, You Jane (1x08, IMDB) and who should I see, all wee and mullet-less, but Chad Lindberg! By which I mean, Supernatural's Ash! And he's still a computer geek genius! \o/
- I'm slowly getting the hang of socializing-through-coffee. Last week I had coffee with my supervisor's peer - the hierarchy details, they fail me - which was nice, and today I had coffee with someone I'd sent my CV a while back and we talked about other organizations that might be interesting, which was also nice.
- Socializing-through-lunch seems to be a big thing, too. Last week I was pretty awesome at having lunch with people, and it's how I met a guy who thinks techno is the highest form of music ever made by man, which, okay, and how I learned that the cute I like talking to is nineteen which, um, ah. *backs away slowly*
- I also had lunch with my supervisor, which was less of a socializing thing and more of an info-dump accompanied with my panicked internal monologue going, "I have no idea what you're talking about. You want me to do what? Do you want me to do that? Wait, what, that too? But the other thing, that is being done by someone else? But I'm going to do- WHAT IS GOING ON?!?" so that was intimidating.

beandelphiki, here & Anonymous, here Seriously, if an introvert is at a social function we don't want to be at, it's probably for one of two reasons: 1) WE'RE TRYING TO MAKE YOU HAPPY, or 2) other people won't leave us the FUCK alone until we do.
I read somewhere that it isn't that introverted people aren't capable of enjoying socializing, it's just that we don't actively gain energy from it the way extroverts do. So introverts can only participate in raucous happenings up to a point, after that it stops being enjoyable and they have to take some time to "recharge", so to speak. This is extremely true for me, and I wonder if it is for you as well. Maybe it's not that you don't enjoy going out to have fun, it's that you're not allotting yourself the needed recharging periods.
