Supernatural "Dark Side of the Moon" Review:

This episode was one crazy emotional rollercoaster. It went a bit like this:

Wee! Sleeping Dean! Oh noes! SAM! Yes, kill them dead, Dean, you magnificent thing you. Isaywhut? Wee!Sam! Adorableness! Cas! The voice of the new Kit car! Missed you! Plot! Missed you too! Oh Sam. Oh Dean. Oh boys. Hee, Cas swore! Mary! Oh Dean. Sammykins, left out. Ow, my heart. Zachariah, nice to see you back: I've missed hating you. Ash! *incoherent happy dance of win* Pamela! *more happy dance* Ah, theology and philosophy and OMG KISS OF GUH. Yay, Joshua rocks! And God is a douche, apparently. *cheers for Dean* Aaaand we're back OMG CAS OMG HIS FACE OMG MY HEART WHY IS IT BREAKING?!? OMG DEAN WHAT? OMG YES SAMMY BE THE ROCK OF FAITH AND OPTIMISM. WHY ARE THEY NOT HUGGING EACH OTHER TO EASE MY PAIN?!?!

I don't really think I can be more coherent than that, and anyway, I suck at meta on a blank slate. I mean, I can give opinions on other people's meta, but I can't really come up with brilliant analysis myself. At least not when I'm Kermit!flailing. (seschat, we must DISCUSS.)

But there was a lot of talk about John, and God, and Cas totally went all "Fuck you," to God, which is a Big Thing for an angel (even one who CAN'T EVER go back to heaven, which, ow), and I understand Sam's memories (Wee! I'm independent! I'm not being crushed by my father and his revenge plan!) and also Dean (Ow ow ow, the "when you went off to Stanford" memory, from Dean's POW, ow.) and whoot that the boys have a savvy spy ally in heaven (Ash for the win!) although it's terribly sad that neither thought they deserved to be in heaven, or even liked it, and holy fucking shit, y'all, the green-lit scene was like being stabbed in the heart at slow-mo and what does it all mean?!?

See? Coherency out the window.
