Glad you're not dead from ski! I fear the ski; I think I would be DED pretty much the moment I strapped my feet in. I prefer to just go directly to ski lodge and load up my hot chocolate with liquor. GLUB GLUB TASTY.

Well, death seemed pretty imminent the first day of ski, what with starting on the murderous blue piste with its slopes with a bloody tree right in the middle dipping straight into the void. The next few days on the lovely - but heart-stoppingly narrow ("Hello, Void!") - green piste were better.

There was hot chocolate. And hot spiced wine. And croissants. And a glorious crepe breakfast followed immediately by a crepe lunch. It all really made up for the constant terror.
