Nano is getting a bit better. I zoomed through most of Chip's afternoon instead of detailing it, which was a huge relief, although the patrol bit was a bit of an uphill struggle. It was necessary, though, to get the whole Kryptonite! Reverse kryptonite! effect, but ye gods, did it hurt to get on paper. Now I've got a lovely Icarus and Chip scene, which is going to be angst, angst, angst. (And possibly snogging, I'm not sure.) And then it's just a hop and a skip away from the infected invasion from hell and Kezef! \o/

Usually Icarus’ back was in some healing stage, his wounds sometimes fresh and bleeding, like when Icarus had almost bled out in the backseat of Chip’s car, and sometimes scabbed over, pink and raw and angry-looking. They would heal a little then change their mind and open wide again, no matter how tightly Chip wrapped those bandages around Icarus’ slim chest. The only time Icarus’ back had ever healed completely – no scabs, no scars, no nothing – was when he first walked into Saunder’s apartment and trapped Chip in a vice-like grip.

Of course, this being an angel’s wound, the wounds’ erratic behavior wasn’t completely surprising. Apparently, angels were prone to psychosomatic symptoms, and the wounds on Icarus’ back were simply the physical expression of a deeper, more spiritual wound.

But now he had a scar where the wounds had been, and Chip wondered what this meant.

40 Days of Supernatural Meme: Day 37 - Favorite Jared movie/other show?

I am a bad fan. I've only ever watched Jared in The Christmas Cottage, because nothing will make me want to watch House of Wax, I couldn't care less about Friday the 13th, and I never caught any episodes of Gilmore Girls with him in it.

That said, however, The Christmas Cottage was a thing of squee. Predictable heart-felt Christmas squee, but adorable nonetheless. Plus, Lawrence of Arabia was in it. I really liked Jared in it - I even squeed over his acting, which I don't usually do (excpeting this season of Supernatural, although I spend most of my time cowering in terror to appreciate his acting, the fact that I am means something). Also, very pretty boy with very nice scarves and hats and thingies. ♥
