Social event yesterday went off splendidly. Met a charming Italian girl, a lovely Madagarscarian family, a Haitian/New Yorkian cameraman, a brilliantly entertaining English teacher and a not-house-renovator-but-renovates-houses Englishman.

And I bumped into a guy I met at the first event, who through a converation about Facebook and then blogs got really adamant that he google for my own blog, despite my saying HELL THE FUCK NO TO THAT SHIT. Repeatedly. Anyway, got home in teh wee hours - Dad was all, OMG! and Mom was just, Yay you social!

Today I sent out an application for a job and looked through a shitton of openings and found nothing. And I fixed up the Globo sapiens fanmix twice, because I am, apparently, a complete moron who double-checks everything except the actual music. And I've moved into a lovely cottage over at Echo Bazaar, so I guess progress is being made. And I finished Grey's Anatomy Season 5. Just two more! Then (or meanwhile, because who's to say I can't) Lie To Me, which I've been dying to watch properly ever since they started advertising it back when they were starting Season 1.

Also I had a dream where I was a wolf - or playing a artificial reality game where I was a wolf - and I was racing through woods and snowy mountains all :D until night came and the real live wolves came out growling so I was D: and running away. Well. I liked the running bit.

The whole episode of Tall Tales, with Sam vs. Dean versions of their adventures and them not getting along, and What Is and What Could Never Be, with Dean dating a nurse and mowing the lawn. Also Bobby being possessed and saying mean things to Sam, and likewise possessed Sam being all sexily evil to Jo.

Oh, and Consuelo Alvarez and Sam's Spanish in Fallen Idols resulted in a real WTF moment. It's really wierd how Sam's Spanish is more grammatically correct than Consuelo's, not that Sam says a lot. Also, Jared's Spanish pronounciation is good.

I definitely agree with you on AHBL, Jensen and Jared both did a magnificent job there! (Sam's death scene is also what got me hooked on SPN in the first place and initiated all the madness. Good times!)

Well, I always felt the Spanish of the woman -- Consuelo? -- was a bit wobbly, but what do I know? Perhaps (probably) they were just dumbing it down so people like I could understand. *grins*

As for the worst WTF "moment", the whole Chuck the whole Prophet/crazy fangirls arc easily deserves the greatest WTF of all, I believe. But that may be just me. *shifty eyes*

No, no, no, I didn't move move, I just moved locations in the role playing game Echo Bazaar (which, by the way, I'm pimping out to you so hard). I'm still in Rome, still at my folks. Sorry for the false squee.

Oh Chuck... For me, it wasn't so much a WTF as a What the Hell Is Going On I Can't Handle This Let's Just Nod and Smile and Move On Like It Never Happened Yes. By which I mean, I'm currently firmly believing that Chuck was always Chuck except that that last "Chuck" wasn't Chuck and was just Chuck-shaped God. (Rereading that sentence is giving me a headache - I hope you could follow the Chuck-maze.) I believe in Chuck the Prophet! So yeah, not so much "what the fuck" as "y'all better be damn sure of what your doing with this".

And Consuelo's Spanish was very wobbly. Wobbly like jello on a trampoline.
