Presents are wrapped, laundry is drying, bed is made and all is well.

Except for a delightful bladder infection that pounced on me yesterday. I've been popping cranberry extract pills like crazy *hugs kidneys* (You okay, babies?) and downing all manner of red fruit juice and teas. Am slightly better, but considering I travel to Rome on Wednesday wee-morning, I think I'll have to get my shit together and call the doctor tomorrow. While I'm at it, they can check out this freakin' rash I've had on my face for months (and I had last year, also for months). Fuck you, body of mine.

ETA: While cranberry juice has worked before, Wiki has now shot even the placebo effect by saying, "Clinical trials on humans have not shown that cranberry juice and supplements[6] help with the treatment of UTIs". Oh, and the back of my neck, on the right side, hurts and I feel headachey. Yays.
