A quick word on Underworld: Rise of the Lycans:
Michael Sheen was sex on legs. Holy abs, Batman! Now, I thought he was pretty smokin' in Underworld 1 but here his hair's all raggedy and dishevelled and there's leather and there's absence of anything resembling clothes and guh. I don't have the more delectable screencaps with me (although I may get around to doing so) and a .zip I found won't load but! I haveth google-fu:

Sonja was pretty smokin' herself and Viktor was his delightfully bastardic self. The movie was pretty straight-forward, plot-wise, but enjoyable. I would've liked to see Lucian and Sonja falling in love, rather than already presented as a couple, but hey. I guess their sort of relationship is one of my I-find-this-fascinating kinks. Like Romeo and Juliet (hate!) except with brains. And muscles. And leather.
The only bit where I was ripe with complaints was at the end where Viktor and Lucian are fighting, because we know neither of them dies (hello, prequel). So it felt like a lot of hoo-ha for nothing. (Still, pretty.)
For the record, I still refuse to believe Lucian died in the first film. He's the first not-trapped-in-wolf-mode lycan! He's the lycan! He had Felicity-guy's blood in his system! He could so totally have transformed into a (non-green) vampire-lycan and not died. *puts fingers in ears and lalala's*
I'm also half-way through watching Kung-Fu Zombie. Hilarity doesn't so much ensue as it simply continuous throughout. Awesome!
