Random Newcomers:
- Ted! Oh gods, Queer as Folk's Ted! *pauses video* *squeals and claps like a seal* Damnit, Claire, take the damn algebra course already!
- I think I rather like the new roommate in a "abrasive yet inspiring in a scary sort of way". So Heroes response to Gilmore Girls' Paris, I guess.
- Gretchen's pretty cool and yet also a tad annoying. "Google is your enemy." gets ♥ (even thought it's a lie!) Her little wave at the end, however, was charming.
- Knife-happy guy reminds me of Ray Park (although I have no idea why). And now I'm torn between wanting a Toad or Maul Heroes cameo and that is just too much crack for today stop me now. ETA: He reminds me of Ray Park because he IS Ray Park. I am blind.
- Water-Guy is waaaay to much like a Ken doll with a dash of surfer dude. And seriously, are those decent working hours?
Mohinder
- Momo was exactly the way I've learned to like him over the past seasons: absent. No monologue, no scenes, nothing. He did get a mention from Peter, but as Molly's also gotten mentions and has yet to be brought back, I'm taking that as a good sign.
Samuel
- That was the worst eulogy ever, Sam. No points to you. However, you spared us Mohinder, so points to Gryffindor. (But not you.)
- Between the smudged eyeliner and the time-travelling, I'm calling
- His tattoo power's pretty neat and yes, I would totally use it to get hot chicks to disrobe too.
- I'm going to ignore the whole inversed-Moses imagery in the burial scene because there is no way that manipulating ink gives you the power to move earth. Unless Sam is really completely telekinetic and just thought he'd specialize. (In which case: idiot!)
- I want kinky tattoo fics of Lydia and Sam, because kinky is what they are.
Angela Petrelli:
- *squee*
- Christine Rose can speak volumes with tiny gestures. The way she threw down the phone in disgust after hanging up with Bennett was epic.
Noah Bennet
- Wet!Bennett: awesome. Ohgodswhathaveyoudonetome.
- I want an icon of Bennet saying "Exhibit A" for anything, including awesomeness.
Peter Petrelli
- He's bitter and spartan and I like him again. (Rejoice!)
- "Water or mustard?" ♥
- Thank you for being smart and saying Bennett should just give the Knife-Guy the samn compass back. (Of course, I said it the moment we saw what it was, but hey.)
- My "your being smart" compliment is retracted, though, for failing to recognize a Special Person EMF-ish compass when you see one.
Claire Bennett:
- New hair, new Claire, and I like both. (Shock!)
- You might recover from the fall, and good of you to check that no one's looking first, but godsdamnit, you just bled all over a crime scene. How is that smart?!?
- Claire, you should be nicer to Sandra. I'm tired of all this "Daddy's Little Girl" stuff. At least acknowledge that you're Claire Bennett, daughter of Sandra Bennett, once in a while.
- Fist...bump? You fist-bumped your mom? Oh gods.
- "Rawr! Cranky." ♥ Ah, see? New Claire! Stay and be cool more.
Matt Parkman
- Sylar is our problem, you idjit. New York go boom? People go aaaaaaah? Brain go splat? These are badbadbad things. You're a cop. What do you do? Stop the badbadbad things. Now sit in a corner and think about what this means.
- "When I delivered water-" "You never delivered water." "Pizza, water, whatever." ♥
- Matt, I don't think I care about you anymore, what with the whole "Being a prick" problem you've got now.
- Addict!Matt is awesome in concept (although he's still a prick) and I enjoyed the Adicts Annonymous scene. However, it's incredibly shitty that it's a) not annonymous and b) with your coworkers.
Nathan "Sylar" Petrelli
- Adrian Pasdar, I love you and your subtle evil ways. \o/
- Snow globes!
Sylar
- I can't wait to see Sylar's face when Parkman caves and tells him just where exactly is his body. (This was much funnier when I was confused and thought the body that'd been burnt was Sylar's and not Nathans. Still.)
- Sylar with a baby! Kissing the baby! How is that not adorable? (Besides from the serial-killer cooties, that is.)
- I approve of the new Scruffy!Sylar.
- Hallucination!Sylar is comedic gold. ♥ I thought the AA meeting was hilarious, but oh gods, the interview! Taunt, faint traces of a serial killer's psyche! Taunt away!
Ando
- What's up with the stupid hair (emo fringe incorporated)?
Hiro
- Entertaining, cute, and yet I made no notes on him at all. Has Hiro become meh? Oh gods, he has.
- Nice tiny little shout-out to Charlie and her brain-tumour.
Storytelling
- Angela and Bennett phone call: - *exposition happens* *exposition continues to happen* *detailed recounting of the past seasons starts to happen but is Sylar-sliced into submission*
- Heroes, honey, having Bennett almost drown in the car was not new and unusual. Please see Supernatural 3x06 "Red Sky At Morning" (and also 1x03 "Dead in the Water"). And while we're on the subject of these "unusual drownings", I want SPN crossover fic.
- Omg, was that the longest flippin' introduction-slash-recap ever? I'm sick and tired of seeing Peter's leap of faith. It happened in 1x01, let it go! And was that a new Sylar scene? Why have I not seen it?
- I know you liked the phrase, "There's no such thing as out." Know how I know? You used it twice. In quick succession. Subtle, thou art not. Bad show! No biscuit.
- Having Sam say, "I left out the part about vengeance" when going on about redemption is a neat way of summing up what this season's going to be. (Go Sylar!)
- Interesting use of voyeur camera angles. No sex, but hey, I still felt like a dirty little spy.
- Angela's premonition was awesome not just for being awesome and all premonitiony, but also because I was relieved to see that we'd actually get to see Zachary Quinto.
- Ten points from the team for the obvious and long product placement. "Look! It's fun for pros and newcommers!" Ugh.
- Minus a gazillion points for taking so bloody long to show us Janice. Likewise with Sandra.
- Bachelor fridges, as shown by Bennett and Peter, were a nice touch, although then you had to go all heavy-handed with the parallels and have Bennett say they're alike.
- Why the weird and unexpected 80s techno music?
