I'm in the middle of watching Heroes 3x01 - the Mohinder scene - and I can't stop ranting. When Maya's the voice of reason - and she's being much too calm about it, 'cause I'd be slapping and shaking - then that just sucks. Mohinder is an ass. He's an insult to scientists everywhere! He's a selfish, vengeful moron who doesn't understand the most basic human psychology, ethics, or even research itself. God damn you, Mohinder! I may've lost faith in your science ages ago, and hating you're "Omg he killed my father, oh woes, that means I can do anything to him!" but this?!? This idiotic plan, and your stupidstupidstupid desire is just unforgivable.
And by the by, the Claire scenes have totally already been explored in fanfic. All the bits, really. The Sylar&Claire scenes, the power-getting and not-killing bit, the living-forever bit... *sigh*
And about Sylar? *waves madly* Babycakes! Darling, I love you to bits, but you're playing it a bit one-note tonight, aren't you? Also, his "That's disgusting" to Claire's "Are you going to eat [my brain]?" was awesome.
In sum, Mohinder must be hit with the Science Stick until he grows a fucking brain.
ETA: Post 3x02, and we discover Mohinder's still an ass, just so we're clear. Also, yay for plot twist, but no yay for fandom once again calling it ages before. "But I am, dear." Oh, Mama Petrelli!
