Some stalkers are quite benign,*
Apr. 19th, 2008 07:28 pm...but finding someone in your garden at three o'clock in the morning with a meat cleaver and a hard-on can't be much fun.
I am sick to my heart of sitting down and typing away about African wild dogs. Am not really done, but it's so, so close. (Ignoring all the editing and some slight gap-filling, that is.) Was going to go out earlier, but the Netherlands decided to spit on that plan. Food's becoming an issue.
Dad's plane's 4 hours delayed and he's not even on it yet. This may mean a) I won't get to see him tomorrow and/or b) he'll miss his connecting flight. Am actually looking forward to seeing Dad. Bizarre. Maybe I'm just better with my parents over the phone?
Oh, and for the record, according to Ma, when in one of her moods, I am a) hysterical**, b) have a serious behavioural problem and c) know didley-squat about Dutch. Why, cheers, Ma. Also for the record, while pleased to see Ma when she was here, never really squeed over it. That must say something, and I could probably elaborate, but my bum hurts and I really need to get on with the captive breeding shite before I can, in a long while, finish the first draft.
Also, Black Sheep is a thing of awesomeness. Bloodthirsty weresheep. Only in New Zealand film. :D Secret Smile (as "Hidden Truth" on YouTube in its entirety), featuring David Tennant as a creeptastic stalker-boy, is, however, had me watching it with my hands clasped over my mouth in horror through Part 2. Ye gods, people can be horrible.
And my bookmark post is huuuge and I'm so far behind my flist of those two past weeks it's sad. Sad like a woe-panda. (Sense, I maketh it not. I've been very visual-metaphor inclined lately.)
