Firefox Mozilla's just decided to stop playing sound again. I remember blizzardcake reporting similar hiccups a good long while back, so I'm laying the fault at Foxy. Explorer works fine. I am disappointed, Firefox.

In other news, I now have 2 viewings! One's slightly over budjet (by E25) but, hey, it's not like I have opportunities thrown left, right and centre.

You know, I never said - I mentioned, but never said - how that one bar conversation with Lander went. It was last Wednesday, the day after I bumped into him and we had a falafel and I was seconds away from tears because of impending homelessness and general suckytude. I got to telling him about, well, the Globo sapiens condition, I suppose. How you're always making and inevitably losing friends, how confusing and lonely and plain exhausting it is. How everyone always asks the same questions and looks at you funny and exclaims, "My god! Your English is excellent!" (I am fucking sick of that.) How there's no one who's known you your whole life, how much of a struggle it is to hold onto people who are dear to you, and how easy it is to be cast aside or forgotten. And I was just fucking miserable over it, and the internship and the housing and the utter aimlessness of these past few years and how I have absolutely no idea or goal for the future and even what I am working on won't give me a fighting chance in the real world. And apart from him being the voice of reason, or optimism, it was really nice to just hash it out with him, because it turns out that us internationally-raised folk aren't so common outside of select schools, and these aren't things you talk about in highschool anyway. He's the first person in my situation I've met in...ages, ever, certainly. And it was nice.

A friend of mine who also has Firefox has been having sound issues for the past day or so. Evidence seems to point strongly to ze fox.

It's always nice to be able to talk to someone who can truly understand your situation... and I hope the viewings tomorrow work out well =) *huggs*
