Someday...

Have just watched the latter half of the documentary Someday My Prince Will Come about a teen girl in the working-class town of Siddick and her Liebeskummer* with Ben and other of the kids at school. Very sweet.

Forgot to say that yesterday watched Lisistrata which had an interesting concept and wasn't half as bad as the review at IMDB says.

Also watched some show jumping, the FEI, this afternoon, and thrilled to see the Netherlander Schroder on Eurocommerce Berlin do a clear round after the two before him knocked off the same jump. He wasn't top, though.

Needless to say, I was envious. Last time I rode was mid-2001.

And every time I remember that my school kept my CAS diary where I wrote, in great detail, what I did every riding class...

Paul Bettany's on in The Reckoning as a priest (this time with melanin). Oh, look, how different: he's disillusioned, manipulated and resorts to beating people up... He's still pale, still hot, and thankfully still has a naked scene.

Very nice editing in the film with repeating falls from different angles and Willem Dafoe seriously needs some flesh on his cheeks.

Now watching Alien: Resurrection for the first time, thrilled to see that it was written by Joss Whedon. It's providing a clear example of unethical experiments and Sigourney's character is giving me grown-up-River vibes, all crazy/creepy superwoman. Ah, Joss, you and your Wonder Women.

This music vid of Caleb made me wonder what it'd be like to write a fic from the villain's pov, with all the self-righteousness, shifting of what we knew and warping of the "hero". Would be really interesting, especially using Caleb and also quite hard to write
