Paris, je t'aime turned out to be even more random than I'd thought. It had some very nice stories, like 1) the rekindling of love between a dying woman and her ex-adulterous husband, 2) the engaged couple wandering about Oscar Wilde's grave and 3) the stabbed man asking the emergency assistance girl out for coffee. THere were some glorious monologues, like 1) the blind boy and the actress and 2) the American postwoman. All in all, quite nice, except the Wes Craven vampire bit totally sucked.

I agree with one viewer's comment on imdb:

"Finally, the wrap-up and interweaving of the 18 stories in the end feels somewhat rushed and half-hearted."

Oh, I cried, of course. Bitter, bitter tears...
