It doesn't. I don't want abortion. Abortion should be the rarest thing in the world. I am actually personally opposed to abortion. But I don't believe that I have a right to take what is an article of faith to me and legislate it to other people. That's not how it works in America.*


Babysitting unsuppervised today, as the mother called yesterday (a wee bit late - 10 pm - for spreading the news) and said she'd started work. Spent the rest of the night envisioning the route to the school, because though I've gone there twice, the panic I had the first day, and the conversation I had the second kind of distracted me from learning the route.

Apart from worrying about reaching the school in time, surprisingly calm about the situation.

OK...I just started reading and couldn't stop, although I am going to go back to Genetics now.


That said I read an interesting article lately in the New York Time magazine (or something like that) about a woman who read her nannies blog and was none too pleased.
