Look at my mask...
Oct. 23rd, 2006 02:21 pmThe following is the most summarized update I can gather up for y'all:
I'm almost done reading the second book I have for Bio GRE review, and about damn time.
I've finished Mary Higgins Clark's A stranger is watching, thank god, and now I can stop mulling over in helpless irritation at the typo's.
I've been watching Queer as Folk between study hours, loving it, and am currenlty playing QaF music vid's for the background music, including, Touching leads to sex, The calling, Come here boy, Come Undone, Oh My God, Collide, Gravity and Addicted. Sometimes I peak at the vid, and it's pretty (despite the fact that the screen is super dark and most of the time I can't actually see anything.)
Roommates took it into their heads to clear up and throw out a whole shitload of stuff the landlady's left in our place. Sure, I grant it was cluttering up everything, but there's no need to throw it away. There's absolutely no call for throwing away books, or taking down the nifty African mask which wasn't doing anyone any harm*.
Have to buy roommate and uncle birthday presents, because as luck would have it, it's both their birthdays on Halloween. And no, I'm not doing anything on Halloween.
Have no food or even water - you should *see* the colour the water has coming out of the faucet...
Totally have to watch Snakes on a Plane and El Laberinto del Fauno (Guillermo del Toro's fantasy film), as well as Slither, which apears to be out in video clubs.
Am trying to download music compilations from the wonderfull folk over at
rayne_shippers, such as Better in Red. Others, which rock me socks, are Saved my Heart for a Soldier", The Girl or the Ghost", Night Dances" (which I haven't downloaded), Angel in the Dark (ditto) and I know there's more but I've gone way back to Sept. 1 and I'm calling it a day.
Rayne song list, but no downloadable delicacies here.
Short drabble rec.
* It wasn't even raising up the dead, for crikes.
