Biology permiates everything

bending_sickleBeen studying for the Bio GRE, with some general GRE mock's in the middle, and I am fed up with it all. My brain can't think in a straight line anymore, it just keeps spouting stuff about myosin and sodium and fungi. Serious ugh. Reading what amounts to an entire textbook of biology is cruel and unusual, so I've decided to intermingle the fun with YouTube.
There was a ginormous thunderstorm Wednesday night, which, due to a Thursday holiday and Friday off, I spent in Cubelles with my uncles. There was continuous lightning, turning the sky pink and purple one minute, then lighting up the sky grey as if it were a cloudy day. Then all hell broke loose and alarms went off thanks to particularly close lightning, hail gave us a wave hello, and it poured for hours. Naturally, I stuck my face out the bathroom window and stared.
Rest of weekend has been spent with GRE's in various forms. Watched Brigade 49 or some other number ending in 9 (JTravolta and JPhoenix) and mocked it endlessly. My heartstrings were only pulled once, and that was by a cut scene, so I don't think it counts. (Cut scene was a perfectly normal "cuddle and kiss" session between people falling in love.) There was further pulling of the heartstrings today with Catch me if you can, the only movie where I actually like LDiCaprio.
So far, have listened to:
1) Mama, sung by CKane, written by BHart
2) Drift Away sung by Kane
3) LA Song sung by CKane in all its complete glory
4) Crazy in Love, sung by Kane, although I've a version of this song on my 'pod.
5) Lindsay's Evil Hand (TM) for the humour
6) Lindsay vid for the pretty
7) Lindsay and Darla scene for the double-pretty with a side of angst (and the delightful double-entendre)
8) Final Score which just suceeds in making me nervous.
9) Roxette's "Crash! Boom! Bang!"
