4) University of Maryland – MS and PhD in Animal Scienes, ‘Behaviour, Ecology, Evolution and Systematics’, Biology. Requires general GRE, Advanced Bio GRE, TOEFL and TSE (Test of Spoken English). Perks: One of top ten zoology departments in USA.
5)Bard College – Professional Certificate (Environmental Policy); MS in Environmental Policy; MS/JD with Pace Law School; MS/MAT with Bard College Not interested.
6)Cornell University – MS, MPS (Agr), PhD Out of my league.
7) Virginia Tech – MS and PhD in Fisheries Science and Wildlife Science; Biological Scienes Perks: One of top departments in USA and the Biological Scienes department was awarded the University Exemplary Department Award.
8)University of Maine – MS of Science, of Wildlife Conservation (non-thesis); PhD in Biological Sciences, Ecology and Environmental Science, Plant Science, Zoology In the middle of nowhere, no matter how pretty the program.
9) University of New Hampshire – MS in Wildlife; MS and PhD in Zoology. Requires general GRE and Biology GRE.
10) University of Massachusetts (Amherst) – MS in Biology, Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences; PhD in Environmental Biology, ‘Molecular, Cellular and Organismal Biology’, Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, 'Wildlife and Fisheries Conservation. . Requires general GRE and TOEFL and initial contact with faculty member. Perks: university, federal, state and NGO wildlife and fisheries research campus convergence. Down perk: O & E Bio has some 40 students.
