Monk in my bunk
Jun. 14th, 2006 07:51 pmI finally caved and watched The DaVici Code. I'm not providing an imdb link because I assume you all were alive these past few years. I didn't really do it out of curiosity, because I've read articles about why Dan Brown is pulling stuff out of not-very-sanitary places. I did it for you, Ian, and for you, Jean.
I appreciate being rewarded by an incredibly hot (and delishously angsty) monk. Hot nude monk.
Thank you for that.
However, Tom Hanks was really just exposition man, and always-Amelie was "I don't understand" woman.
Ian was the bestest old golly man ever. Really. There are no words for how much I loved his character in the first scene he's in.
But he's totally wrong about the Earl Grey + lemon. It's totally milk, yo.
In other news,
metaquotes teaches us about being gay for Johnny Depp (and says it doesn't really count as gay)
Remember that plot bunny that completely mauled me this weekend? The one that later scrambles my brain by refusing to work logically? It's biting hard, man. It's even insinuated itself into my Jayne-fic, but I will resit.
The Jayne-fic, btw, is currently on stand-still and can be summed up as: Jayne goes whoring, the rest of the crew goes drinking. Stuff happens and then plot happens, with added intrigue, and then Jayne gets yelled at.
So basically I got no plot.
