I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING ANYMORE. Basically I've just been writing filler all day and there's this character and I have to decide whether he's alive or dead and I don't know how to present that moment and I keep dragging this out and the scene keeps getting calmer and *headdesking* No, no, no, it was supposed to be an action AH HE'S DEAD! ALIVE! A HAMSTER! SOMETHING.

Chip shook his head, trying to swallow and talk at the same time. “We didn’t see them,” he managed.
Dean turned to glance at him, and Crowley shifted his weight.
Icarus took his fingers off Chip’s neck. “Who did we not see?”
“Everyone.” At Icarus’ furrowing brow, Chip corrected himself. “I mean – our people. We didn’t – We haven’t found –”
“The old man, you mean,” said Crowley.
Chip nodded. “And – and –” He could see their faces, their names echoing inside his head and how could he forget, how could he not look?
“The ginger kids,” supplied Crowley.
Another nod and this time Chip did not try to speak.
Crowley continued. “The bird you were playing cards with. Your girl’s playmates.” Behind him, Agatha made a little noise, and Chip hated Crowley for that.
