Nanowrimo, Day 18: I have written over 2700 words today. Asldfkjsd. I'm finally - finally - caught up. (Unless you want to be technical and say I'm behind on November 19th's word count, to which I say, "It's two in the fuckin' morning!") However, plot has advanced (a little) and there's more Chip/Icarus shmoop as well as Chip/Steve (in the hopes that one day
seschat will forgive me for all the other things I do to Steve).

Excerpt:
Steve twined his legs with Chip’s and gave a stuffy-nosed grumble. “I’m dying,” he whined.
“You’re not dying.”
“I’m dying,” repeated Steve. He wiped his nose under the blankets and Chip could only close his eyes and convince himself that yes, there was a tissue there between him and the entire muccal contents of Steve’s respiratory tracts. “I’m dying and then I’ll be dead and snotty and horrible.” Steve sniffed loudly.
