Nanowrimo: Bad writing day today, mainly because I was full of apathy and wibbles and couldn't get around to writing. Still, I've reached an easy bit (Agatha's always fun to write, and spell-time is always fun), so tomorrow ought to be smooth. No idea where the plot is going from there, but...

“Is this Crowley guy bad news?” asked Lauren. Agatha looked up at Chuck as well, eyes wide.
Chuck looked at the two of them, then back at Chip, who dropped his hands from his shoulders. “I guess they know what they’re doing,” he admitted.
The two men leaned against back, one against the counter and the other against the table, while Lauren sipped at her tea. Abruptly, Agatha declared that she was going to look for Saunders and turned for the door.
A few moments later, Chuck said, “You know she’s probably –”
“I know,” Chip sighed. “But she’s a smart kid.”
