Everything not Nanowrimo: On hold. I have so many open tabs and links saved it scares me to think about it. (To say nothing of the week of LJ that I'm behind on.) Also all the reactions and feelings to all the shows have to be expressed. I also have emails and replies pending. I have not forgotten about any of this.

Nanowrimo, Day 6: \o/

Excerpt:

"We’re going out tomorrow," he told Icarus, brushing ash off the front of his jacket, "and that means you." When Chip returned and set a half-empty bottle on the table, Dean added, "Bring your friend if you need a babysitter, I don’t care. Just get your strength up today, ‘cause tomorrow we’re finding out what these firebombing angels know."

Chip thought back to Dean’s face moments earlier, covered in ash and wide-eyed. He thought of Icarus running the ash between his fingers and finally being certain that the angels were back on earth. Then he thought of the wave of infected that had crashed over the camp just days before, demons running between them, and of the fresh graves visible from the fence at the back of the camp.

It was a testament to Dean’s strength as a leader that Chip never thought to say no.

*points to your icon* So true!!! Mark is so freaking awesome! He makes the bad guys so likable, lol. Btw, have you seen his recent interview from when he was in New Zealand?

I have indeed seen Mark's New Zealand interview! (Well, most of it. Nanowrimo, y'know.) I always love his interviews, especially when he talks about the science fiction fans and the genre. Oh Mark, how you so awesome?

I've just recently discovered the joys of his interviews! I love how he's so supportive of sci-fi and genre fans. I swear, if he weren't married, I'd kiss him, lol.

The interview I was thinking of was the one with David Farrier, but come to think of it, I've actually seen both of them. :-)

I don't know. I haven't even started writing yet today and that's like 1000 words I've got to do and my mood is more along the lines of "fuck everything and the horse it rode in on" or possibly "let's sit in a corner and watch tv forever". It's a toss up.
