I'm a third culture kid - have been, for the past twelve years - and I just wanted to say how much this album resonated with me.

Sometimes there's such a divide between what we TCKs feel and what other people think we feel. Our loneliness is not quite their loneliness; it's similiar, but different, and there's a definite sense of lost in that non-understanding. But the combination of quotations and the song lyrics in this album go a long way to capturing what it's truly like to be a TCK, and I thank you for it.

I've always been a third culture kid - and fourth, fifth... - and it still hits me sometimes, so I made the mix and quotes to cope.

Also, I'm so glad I learned that there was such a concept as a TKC, because I thought it was just me not being able to handle things well or adapt. Glad to know there's others out there.

Word on the last part - for the longest time I was simply calling myself "international" and then I got to uni, and somehow I just wasn't the same as the other international students; they don't have the same patterns of migration as TCKs do, and I'm glad I found that that distinction does exist.

It's really a lovely album ♥. I just moved again recently, so yes, I'm dealing with the bundle of issues that brings up, and listening to the music and just zoning out for a while, it's nice.
