Comments: This all started because I couldn't get the lines, "an angel crying, 'Take me back home, take me back home'" - and how they applied to Castiel - out of my head. So I edited that couplet. Then I got an idea for the "children in a river" couplet, so I edited that one. Then I got an idea for the "lovers in a window"... Rinse and repeat until I realized I was editing a whole fanvid.

Each couplet - and sometimes a whole verse - is its own story about the supernatural, with the images following the verses literally or metaphorically. I hope the tiny stories are strung together well enough to give the sense of a whole fanvid.

As for the editing itself, I'm still too focused on linking the images to the lyrical beats rather than the musical ones, so that's something I need to work on. In terms of effects, I used 1) fade to white or black, 2) mirror horizontally, and 3) darken. That's it.

Wow, I adore this vid! The editing is flawless and fabulous, and such an excellent song choice, too!

I especially liked the part that stars at 2:40, "I saw kindness / and an angel / praying take me back home / take me back home". So awesome! Also, I really like the way it fades out. Flail! ♥
