Things have been horrible lately, especially last night and this morning, due to horrid, horrid fights with mom which started off over my wearing gloves on a Spring night or a black dress this morning and escalated into how she should've thrown me out of the house at 18 and how I'm obviously insane. In an attempt to compensate the sheer amount of suck, I refused to go to my German class today and instead hunted down a candy store and sat in the Piazza del Popolo eating sour gummies. Tomorrow I have a meeting with a guy from Organization (whom my mother met a the French cinema) so that he can "inspire" me and tell me how wonderful it is to work at Organization, as if I haven't been trying to get an internship there for a year.

Today involved the typical Friday transport strike, meaning waking up in the wee hours, waiting an hour before starting work, and then walking home for an hour, which was still better than the 3-hour bus-wait I enjoyed last time. Other than that, today's been shiny. Worked on projects, watched TV, it's all good. And it's made better because of you and your loving capslock. Seriously, I love you.

As for Misfits, I've just started on Season 2. To be honest, I expected something different when I started watching, but that's just because I was influenced by a lot of awesome and slashy tumblr gifs. I thought there'd be much more Nathan/Simon interaction/friendship, and I wasn't quite prepared for the dark aspects of the show either. It's all good, though. I think my favourite character is Kelly, who's fantastic and awesome and wonderful and actually kind of reminds of Donna, which, yeah. Awesomeness all around! But I adore them all, really. Nathan and his snark! So much hilarious snark! ♥

Again, darling, I'm really sorry you're having a hard time at the moment, but you have no idea how glad I am that I'm able to cheer up you up even a little bit. ♥ I love you!

I thought there'd be much more Nathan/Simon interaction/friendship - Well, there is more in Season 2, but Nathan's still a jerk to Simon. But in a friendly way :) (Oh, and 2x03. Just you wait.)

Kelly, who's fantastic and awesome and wonderful and actually kind of reminds of Donna - Yes! Exactly this! (Well, sort of. Ahaha, 2x03 rocked! I really loved the Simon/Alicia storyline as well. As to Nathan, I adore how we get to see more and more of his personality. ♥
