- tracy_loo_who being a complete and absolute darling and sending me the audio for The End's commentary. ♥

- pinkfinity sent me an LJ gift as a token of appreciation for my Devour review. I'm still a-glee over it :D

- I've taken to watching Never Mind the Buzzcocks on YouTube because laughter is flippin' addictive. I particularly enjoyed 21x07 because it had Martin Freeman (ye future Hobbit) and Matthew Horne of The Catherine Tate Show. Part 2 has them staring off each other in a sigh-contest. A favorite is also 21x01 because of Jessica Hynes.

- The joyful comments on the Devour commentary ♥

- Setting a Nanowrimo calendar as my desktop. Well, this doesn't so much make me happy as super excited and somewhat terrified. Yays?


In other news, my parents should've landed by now, so they'll be home in a couple of hours. I'm zooming off to Spain tomorrow afternoon - back Wednesday night - so there's that. Oh, and I might get to snuggle seschat in person, which would be fantastic.

I haven't worked on that fic I've got half-written at all, but I did make a fanmix. I particularly think that Through Glass is Sam's theme song for Season 6.

Wow...I know as a Virgo I'm supposed to like things like this, but the sight of that Nano calendar *terrifies* me. It's bad enough when I get behind in my word count goal (and I always, always do) but to be reminded I'm behind whenever I want to check the date? Yikes!

You know, the funny thing is, my "Final Boss" kind of thing of Nano '09 (I called them "Death Dealers" in my head, which was entirely stolen from the Underworld soundtrack, here) was all about stealing souls to sell them off to the highest bidder (after driving their victims to suicide so the souls could be set free), because, you know, apocalypse, desperate times, desperate measures. Which is why I did have a bit of chuckle after watching 6x02 (if this was the angel episode, I'm not sure).

So, yeah. It was fun. Right now I'm sitting their kind of shifty-eyed for the complete lack of plot for this year, and I just know that vague ideas won't work for me because I've tried to pull that one before. *collapses in a depressed pile of depression* Why am I doing this again? Because I want a t-shirt! A Nano t-shirt! They're so pretty, damn it!

On another notion, do you have any idea how excited I am for TFSB 2? THIS excited! ♥ I love love love anything post-apocalyptic or dystopian, and I just know TFSB 2 will be a fantastic kind of treat. YES.

Well no, not a rewrite of the "what the hell did I write after that bit? Was that the right adjective? Omg, did the car thing happen before the fire?" but rather a "hey, let's take the characters and the situation and have another go at it". Otherwise it'd be boring and frustrating. This way you have some basis to work with - you're not building the world up from scratch and you know what you want to happen.

...inside I am terrified. Really.
