bending_sickleWell, that went went. *cue lost-in-a-desert-with-no-clothes-on theme* My presentation went decently enough for someone who occasionally blanked out, failed to finish sentences and had trouble expressing simple concepts. Man, talking's hard. :( But no, it went alright all in all, I just felt like an underprepared dolt about it. Now I just have to put the final touches on the outline and email it in. Then we write. *cue dodo-theme-of-doom*
But before we do all that, I'm totally blowing today off. (Sort of. Maybe.) Lunch was had - club sandwich** - and now I'm happily surfing the net. Who knows, I might even write some fic. I've been one paragraph away from ending a Hero's Manual Chapter for months now, and I just can't put my notes into decent words.
I'm going to stick around until the evening's Movie Night with the ISN. Wee! Room full of people! And me! (Okay, that's just pathetic.) But sociability's on the up and up. Tomorrow I'll be having dim sum lunch with Elisa, Laura and Wulan, then 27 Dresses, which looks amusing at least. And on Sunday, I think I'm doing something with Lander, but I'm having a little amnesic moment... o.0
Science Stick addennum to my previous post: AB+ is the universal acceptor! Argh! You've got the universal donor and the universal acceptor in the same room and you don't know who's blood to give the dying man? And you call yourself a paramedic?!?

And oh my goodness, feeling unprepared for presentations, having trouble speaking and such: I eventually lost count of how many times those happened to me throughout my master's. But don't worry, somehow you come out the other end alive and in one piece!
