Feh. I've got two words: "Sold out." Blergh. Apparently, rewards are for other people. Me? I get to be nearly run over by a car. At a zebra corssing. With a me-green-and-car-red light.
I'm going to see if I can get any House on short notice. Meanwhile, I'm grilling up a ham 'n cheese. Excuse me, I'm off to sip wine and have chips whilst staring at the frelling amazing view of the stars tonight from my balcony. Orion's looking sweet.
ETA: Death Cab for Cute makes for excellent star-gazing music. The fact that the sky above the Netherlands is a bleedin' airplane higway somewhat detracts from the enjoyment. Speaking of enjoyment, I'm enjoying this second bout of wine much too much.
And two little asides:
1) Why on Earth would I wait for months to fork over a ridiculous amount of cash to watch a film when it's on the internets right now? Rethorical question, folks. I know why.
2) I'll never forgive Ian McEwan for The Cement Garden, which I studies in English Lit., nor John Irving for The Son of the Circus, one of a very-mangled-handful of books I've never cared to finish. And that's a serious offense: I've got The Worm Ouroboros "in progress" since 2005. (Granted, it's all the way over in TO and is the sort of book that really has to be read aloud, but still.)

Take the Seven Deadly Sins Quiz
My not having a car kinda left one entire section of questions wasted on me. My not having a significant other (ever) likewise.
Links of the Day:
Auditory Illusions - the Barbershop one is amazing!
Lisa Black and Jessica Josclin are two artists (sculpture) I may just have to break my lurker's silence to share with
ursulav. Their work reminds me so much of her bird golems.
jadwin's Fanfic: Hitchkiking, WIP, involving Hot Fuzz, The Hitchhiker's Guide and, eventually, Dr Who. She's** got a wonderful Pegg/Frost RPF too.

capn_mactastic notwithstanding.
