Had the oral exam yesterday. Was very nervous and forgot stupid words, like "chair". For one exercise, I had to look at a graph showing what % of Germans complain about noise, neighbours, dirt etc. in their apartments. I swear, there was nothing to say about it, so I came out looking like a tongue-lacking idiot. Then I made up for it by being a jibbering idiot. And I think I said that the exam was more painful (word unknown) than going to the dentist. *shame*
On the other hand, mom and I went to a Greek resto and ate happily, then we bought ridiculously expensive bras. Fantastic, will-last-thirty-years, bras. But still.
Is very hot. Over weekend may be 40 degrees with humidex. Have ice cream in freezer, but nooo, "eat responsibly". Beh.
May have family outing down south this weekend.
I could also rant about not knowing wtf I'm going to do this summer and later. I could bemoan the fact that I don't even know the country and that I don't at all like the idea of going to Germany to study German and poss. then doing a Masters there. Legally, will be kicked out of country in September. Although dad said this morn' that "you know you can stay, right" so I don't know. He said it would be easy to get a citizenship, but then they ut restrictions on you leaving, like, that second. Could I renew a visa if I have no job or anything?
Gah.
Also, Afredo emailed (exactly the same thing he emailed mom) because they'd moved house and had been going through old stuff and found the pearls mom gave his mom. Ahem?! I emailed him like 4 months ago, so I think my response can wait a while yet. No gushing over his girfriend, though, which is v. nice.
Ok, now I've peeved. And hungry. And hot. And thirsty.
Think world hates me.

Date: 2005-06-11 03:58 pm (UTC)i don't think i've ever bought a bra that wasn't either on sale or wasn't about $14 to begin with. i remember almost caving in grade 12th wrt those "water" bras at lasenza because i thought i needed a little "ooomph", but i ultimately decided not. and nowadays i have plenty of ooomph!
