The papers for my graduation are all set and ready. I'm having second (and third) doubts about writing that Scientific Note on lion manes, but I ain't touching that until January.

I've got Christmas presents covered (burnt DVD's all around!) which I'm sure will not be received with any joy. Especially since Mom was all, "Don't worry about presents," when I asked what the fuck does Dad want?!? Said Dad has also failed for a few Christmasses running to deliver on the present-front, which is just yay. Tomorrow, wrapping paper! I also finally mailed the last cards, the last of which I wrote after staring at the blank paper thinking what the hell can I say?!? because by that time I was on my 11th Christmas card and omfg there's only so much you can say on a card-with-a-purpose. Ugh.

Am currently bored with no new television (damn you hiatuses! hiati?) and listening to The Mountain Goat's "Riches and Wonders" which sounds too much like Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" to be relaxing. I suspect, though, that this is a prime put-on-repeat-and-weep song.

Last Night's Dreams - Dream A:
I'm sandwiched in bed between the being-previously-known-as-Trickster (Supernatural spoiler 5x08) and random lady. I'm having a lot of trouble sleeping and just rolling around uncomfortably. There are many ways this dream could have been better, but my subconscious wasn't lewd enough, the little shit.

Translation: I have not been sleeping well (i.e. comfortably) for a while. It shows.

Last Night's Dreams - Dream B:
The vague storyline that I could grasp was that I was looking for someone. This involved being by the side of a very large, muddy and fast tropical river, the banks of which were overrun with big-ass plants. There was some running through the underbrush and a forest - either hiding or searching. There was a large multi-storied building which was at times an apartment, a university building and a hospital. There were a lot of halls, dead-ends and stairways. Then I was on a beach, walking back with other people (having, I suppose, found the person I was looking for) and being followed by small (like, five-foot-long or so) crocodiles. Two crocodiles bite onto my fingers, one hand each, and I try to walk along, dragging then along, because I can't pry the croc off my hand because the other hand is also full of croc. I do eventually get them off with no pain or harm or distress, just frustration in the "Omfg, get off" sense.

Translation: I miss the tropics, have snaggly-toothed baggage and would love to run through the jungle. Or something, I don't know.

Yeah, plus a little bit of everything nowadays. I even *gasp* use a pillow (or hug a pillow). But the thing is I tend to contort my spine in awful ways (like, from my belly down it's "sleeping on my stomach" but belly up it's "sleeping on my side") and my arms. I think my body's trying to find a new default position and just failing miserably.
