Gods help me, I'm liking southern accents. And by "southern" I mean *waves vaguely at USA map* other there. I like it on True Blood, I like it in country songs (yes, I occasionally delve into country) and I liked it when the J2 boys put it on** during the Chicago Con. [ETA: Yes, yes, I know there's a gazillion different accents in the general area of southern USA.]

You should watch Primal Fear again. Ed Norton with a Kentucky accent! Or at least so Marty implies; I wouldn't know Kentucky from a hole in the ground except inasmuch as I associate the name with deliciously awful fried chicken.

Hm... southern accents eh? I should pay more attention to those :P Although I have this tendency at times to think someone has an accent when nobody else seems to hear it (or not hear an accent others do) O.o

It's like the third time I see that picture, and every time I just get knocked out cold by the guh. My jaw hits the ground every time.

Accents are funny ol' things. Myself, I might notice an accent only on certain words, or think it's just the person's particular speech pattern and not an accent. Also, I'm hopeless identifying Irish vs. Scottish accents unless they're all but slathered on.
