Spent delightful day basically lying in bed watching Supernatural. It was marred only by my lack of food in the house (popcorn for lunch!) and my brilliant idea of leaving the house for coffee just when most shops are closing. Managed to score a cap' and lemon cake and a chapter of Threshold. Also sent up co-account with Brother for That Thingy with him being co-pilot to my laptop. It's a bit otherworldly to see your mouse wandering around clicking things without your say-so.

And now, m'dears, food! And the sweet, sweet hotness that is Dean Winchester. I find SPN thoroughly enjoyable mainly because I can watch it as just a show, without trying to puzzle things out like Lost or wanting to play smack-a-bitch like Heroes. It's just plain fun - and funny - with very pretty folk who occasionally angst and always beat the crap out of something.

Tomorrow I'll start dealing again with lions, funds and finding a subletter for my room. (I've already got 2 emails since putting up the advert. last night, but I can't bear to handle them now.)

I am finding it tricky to work through Supernatural, probably because I haven't found a ship yet, but according to my friend most people just ship Dean/Sam. not too sure how I feel about this yet, but I just might...

It might be hard to find a long-lasting pairing with SPN because there's (so far in my Season 1 viewing, at least) practically no recurring characters apart from the brothers. There might be some shipping options within each episode (especially with Dean, who's always game) and apparently the episode 1x12: Faith (http://supernaturalwiki.com/index.php?title=Faith) has some good chemistry between him and Julie Benz (BtVS/Angel's Darla).

I'm not shipping the brothers (yet; there's a lot of fodder though) and am getting by with the humour and being smitten with Dean. Granted, this is the first Season, so it's basically Monster-of-the-Week stuff. I've also been keeping up with Season 4, and it has more Serious Plot things that might get you interested.

Before you give up all hope, definitely watch 4x06: Yellow Fever (http://supernaturalwiki.com/index.php?title=4.06_Yellow_Fever). It totally cemented my love for this show. Plus it's hi-larious and angsty.
