bending_sickleOy vey, I'm totally beat. I've just spent 4-5 hours in the basement rummaging through boxes of my possessions, trying to decide what I can take with me and what I can continue living without. Put like that it doesn't sound too taxing, but by gum, it really was. Not just physically - because a cramped, dusty, humid place on a hot day is fabulous - but emotionally as well. All my things! All my dear, dear things I can't have and don't know when next I'll see them.
Bear in mind that I'm a pack-rat and, more importantly, that I've lived in too many places to have constants beyond my things. We don't have a family house, we have things we don't throw away. (Until we're forced to, and then there is woe and mourning for ever and ever.)
