bending_sickle | Don't let me abandon you.*

Watched Sunshine yesterday. It's pretty - very, at some points - but didn't feel like a movie with a strong story arc. Also, random spoilery events are random and annoying, I wasn't particularly drawn into the story and it just all felt a bit blah. If you want to see the pretty, you can YouTube or check out the end credits I uploaded (with a nasty unexpected green line) because they're accompanied by a notfanvid recap of the movie. Pretty :)

In other news, have talked to Mom. She was chipper! I was chipper! We talked American politics ("tasteless and offensive"), the stock market ("Aaaaah!"), the world economy ("It's going to be the shits in Europe.") and my brother.

My brother, who never tells me anything - nor, for that matter, our parents - went to the doctor for panic attacks. Oy. He's all better from his depression of a few years ago (at least, methinks - don't know how better or what he's doing to stay better). But he's been thinking of a massive career change and so, apparently, freaked out. I wish he'd tell me these things. (For the record, my first cousin also had panics attacks. He's a social worker and at the time had finished working with street kids in Guatemala and was working with terminally-ill AIDS patients. It did him good to change jobs after that.)

I've got three reactions to this situation, which I'm cycling through rapidly at the moment: 1) zomg brother!, 2) why don't we tell each other things, and 3) *eyes own genes apprehensively*
