First off: no, I haven´t tried the internet at my flat yet. I´m over at MCarmen´s.

Second: OMFG.

Having nothing to do seriously sucks. Especially when you´re miserable on top of it and don´t know what the future might hold in store.

My plans don´t go further than this weekend, and they are vague at best.

I have a French placement exam tomorrow, then I´m going to scout the streets for the Goethe Institut. Saturday afternoon I´m off to Cubelles to hang with Gran and co. then back here Sunday. Then I´ll pre-register for my course Monday.

I might take the Goethe course after all, even if it is ridiculously expensive, because it´s stupid that mom and I don´t spend any cash only so that dad can buy the whole gorram Tin Tin DVD collection.

He´s not well in the head, either.

So the days are long and the flat is often empty and I never know what to cook eitherthough mom keeps chanting, "Vegetables!" at me.

Guh.

Oh, and made icons. No, sorry, can´t load then now. Frig.

PS: Watched "Brokeback Mountain" with (bad) subtitles. Too much of the sad, not enough of the hot. And stop mumbling, Heath! It´s not like you´ve got lock-jaw!

Your posting made me sad. One, you are not alone because there all these people out there who love you (LOVE YOU!). Two, you will find something to do with your life; I know it will happen. Maybe you should become a translator with your German, French, Spanish (two versions I'm guessing!) and English. Or a florist with your biology degree. I can see you surrounded with flowers. Or maybe a masters would be good. Or maybe you should go off and teach English for a year in an exotic locale which must involve lots of travel on your day office. Maybe you should go to teachers college and become a mentor to young people everywheres. You could always take translation courses. The Goethe sounds like a good idea as it seems to make you happy - your right, the Tin Tin thing is a little wierd, so go for it.
Vegetables are good. So are hamburgers.
Love you girl and know that everything is going to be fine. Keep on hunting, be proactive in your job search and tenacious; call and make sure they got your CV. Tell them how great you are. Maybe do some volunteering; it will probably make you feel good as people who are happy to see you just because you walked through the door usually cheers me up!
