You would not believe what just happened to me. So there I was, a plate of pancakes in my hand, trying to open an umbrella so's I could go microwave the 'cakes in the other house's kitchen without drowning in the rain whilst walking across the inter-house patio. (Dutch architecture, let me show you it. Frog pills were in short supply back then.) So what happens? The frickin' plate tips ominously and my pancakes fall. And they don't just fall anywhere, oh no. They fall onto the little patio balcony thingy. One falls on it, and one falls through the wooden boards to be lost forever in a muddy pool surrounded by concrete walls. My pancakes fell into the bleedin' drainage! When has that ever happened to you? *woe*

The only good thing to come out of that is that I was thinking about maybe getting my ass into gear to doing the "Bulletproof" fanvid, and then it hit me. Michael Emerson said, in Ben's voice, "I feel tired and vulnerable." (See previous post.) What could be more perfect than that?

I found the pancake just now. It either didn't disappear into the cesspool, or it actually climbed back out and lay exhausted on the wooden boards.
