I don't feel particularly attached to my name, nor have I found it to be sufficiently common to cause problems. My entire collection of names is thrice 7-letters, which I find awesome. Anyway, that's what nicknames and aliases are for, in which case I like Steff when written, Alice when spoken.

Date: 2008-04-20 03:42 pm (UTC)I guess prefer reading it in fanfic form. I've read one erotica novel and didn't quite know what to do with it (laugh? cry? throw it far away?). I guess because there's emotion behind it, and if it's well-written and drawn out (rather than a wham-bam PWP) I can get into the scene more. And angsty slash kind of pushes all my buttons.
I've never flipped through any magazines.
I have seen some videos (with the sound off, because ew, ew, ew) and spend more time distracted by the obviously fake "omg I'm so loving this" looks, or being squicked with "Do you know where that just was?!? How can you put it in your mouth?!?". Also, seeing disembodied dicks really doesn't help (and when you do see the guy, ew!). I find that the (addmittedly little) porn I've watched was mainly out of a horrified fascination.

So even if we're talking about a one-night thing, I'd be a bit extra-picky. Also, I'm having troubling thinking of a possible-options list, 'cause I'm the type to concentrate the lust on a few at a time. That said, I think I might go for David Tennant. A bit on the lanky side, excellent hair, Scottish, and most importantly, very sweet, optimistic, and handles media well (so no horrible paparazzi consequences). Why yes, I'm completely smitten. And then there's this (http://sam42.livejournal.com/715101.html), which really shouldn't make me go Guh! quite so loud.
6. Livejournal: I'm torn between more icons for free users and said free users being able to edit their comments. Why, LJ, why can't I edit and spare the world my typos?!?

6. I really think they're missing a trick with the paid accounts, cos it's like 'free or everything!' whereas if they did a middle ground paid account where you got comment editing and maybe 10 extra icons I'm sure they'd have takers. Or even a build your own package kind of thing...
