Moar memes!

Truth meme, via [livejournal.com profile] capn_mactastic:

Ask me a serious question about one to three of the following:

1. Friends
2. Sex
3. Music
4. Drugs
5. Love
6. Livejournal
7. Porn
8. The Future

No matter how rude, sexual or confidential... I will answer honestly.

Questions meme via [livejournal.com profile] snowgrouse:

1. If you had the ability to legally change your name, would you? To what?
I don't feel particularly attached to my name, nor have I found it to be sufficiently common to cause problems. My entire collection of names is thrice 7-letters, which I find awesome. Anyway, that's what nicknames and aliases are for, in which case I like Steff when written, Alice when spoken.

2. What do you with with change that you receive from banks/purchases/find on the ground?
...keep it? In a coin thingy?

3. If you could travel back in time to change the course of one historical event, what event would it be?
I think we've all learnt not to mess with time, haven't we?

4. Would you rather live a safe, stable, moderately interesting life or one where every day was dangerous, volatile, and different?
Oh gods, stability now! I've had it with that other stuff.

5. What do you think you'll be remembered for when you die and, if you could, would you change it to something else?
Bwahahaha! I don't really think I'll be remembered for anything in particular. By people, well, that just depends on the lifespan of friends and family. *iz totally not speshul*

Another questions meme via [livejournal.com profile] snowgrouse:

ABOUT YOU / YOUR JOURNAL

1. What is your LiveJournal username? How did you come up with it?
Shakespeare's Sonnet 116, "Love's not time's fool, though rosey lips and cheeks within his bending sickele's compass come", which I was made to memorize in English class. I wanted to be Anaesthesia, but that was taken.

2. Have you renamed before? If so, what were your old names? If you haven't renamed, what names would you want to rename to?
I don't think I'd rename because that'd be a bit of a mindfduck for me, but Anaesthesia's still nice.

3. How much does your userinfo say about you?
A bit more than the bare minimum, but probably not too much either.

4. How long have you been on LiveJournal?
04 May 2005 @ 11:20 pm

5. What is the longest amount of time you've gone without posting?
42 days

6. On average, how many entries do you post per day? (Divide how many total entries you have by how many days you've been on LJ.)
Like I'm going to do that sort of math. I think on average I'm on 1-2 posts a day.

7. What are your posts normally about?
Daily going-ons, fandoms, people-I-lust-after. The usual.

8. Is your LiveJournal friends only? Why or why not?
No, because there just isn't enough traffic to warrant that. Also, I don't much care for friends-only journals. There's absolutely nothing locked on my LJ.

9. Does your LiveJournal have an actual title or are you merely USER @ LiveJournal?
"Imaginary Gardens (real toads not included)", altered a bit from some poem

10. How long do you see yourself staying on LiveJournal?
Indefinately.

ABOUT YOUR FRIENDSLIST

11. How many people are on your friendslist, not counting private journals, media journals, etc?
27. Wowza.

12. Why do you choose to add a person to your friendslist?
Because I can't be bothered to type in the whole HTML address every day.

13. Is your friendslist an actual list of people you consider friends, or more of a reading list?
Mainly reading list, a few close friends.

14. How often do you read your friendslist?
All the time.

15. Do you use filters when viewing your friendslist?
Nipper. (i.e. no)

16. How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal?
Have you seen the size of that Atlantic? (i.e. not too often, because I suck at emailing or calling)

17. Do you do friendscuts? Why or why not?
Nope. See above.

18. Do you regularly participate in friending memes? If not, how do you normally find people to friend?
I don't quite get friending memes. I just wander around my staple comms, or follow links, and if I find myself reading old posts or looking forward to new posts, friending is considered.

19. How often do you add new friends to your friendslist?
Occasionally, I guess.

20. Do your friends have to have things in common with you?
That...that seems to be the definition, yes?

ABOUT YOUR ICONS / USERPICS

21. How many userpics do you get maximum? How many of those slots do you actually use?
15 or 15, I think. Too few!

22. Do you mostly use icons made by yourself or by others?
As it stands, I've got more of my icons than other people's, but that's just because I had a Bunny Comic phase and haven't bothered to change the icons in ages.

23. Do you have your own icon community? How often do you post in it?
Nope.

24. What fandoms are most frequently seen in your userpics?
I have an icon for Doctor Who and one for Heroes. Again, updating must be done. Poor Lost, unrepresented.

25. How do you find icons to use?
Those not mine come from just reading posts and threads or, occasionally, icon posts.

26. How often do you upload new icons to use in your userpics?
Never, apparently.

27. Which of your userpics do you use the most?
Default. And Penguin Love, for it is the ultimate hug.

28. Which of your userpics do you like the most?
Penguin Love? Although OMG keeps making me giggle.

29. The old minimum number of userpics was three. Could you see yourself "surviving" on three userpics now?
Allow me to quote [livejournal.com profile] snowgrouse: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

30. What do your userpics say about you?
That I like Bunny Comics and "Look! An emotion!" icons.

ABOUT YOUR FANDOMS

31. How many fandom communities are you a part of?
I read the Doctor Who, Heroes and Firefly newsletters, and seek out Lost posts after the episode airs. (Soon, my pretties, soon.)

32. Do you join fanfic or icon communities or only the general communities?
I've joined a few fanfic and icon comms, mainly to read - or back when the muse lived, to post. Not often, though.

33. How many fandom communities do you moderate?
Bwahahaha! A bit fat 0.

34. How often do you check fandom communities for new posts?
Compulsively. (This is me we're talking about.)

35. Do you contribute to fandom? If so, by way of what?
Mainly through squeeful comments. (See also: The Muse, and Why She's Dead.)

36. Which fandoms are you most active in?
Currently, Doctor Who, 'cause the other ones are on vacation. And by "active" I mean "lurking".

37. What do your choice of fandoms say about you?
That I like science fiction, mindfucks, and hot men.

38. Do you make friends based on fandom?
I got one, who is my squishy. I've made various acquaintances, though, so that's swell.

39. Have you ever read (or been featured on) fandom_wank?
Only through [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes.

You prefer Rough sex!

You like it ROUGH. Hard, great, wonderful slamming sex is your type of sex. More the product of lust than love - and utterly horny - rough sex is what satisfies you.

'What is the best type of sex for you?' at QuizUniverse.com

Ahahaha! Well, in my head at least. In RL I'm apparently a total prude. (And I say apparently because, hello? Sans sex is me.
