I've managed to write 849 words. Yay! I think I might have actually worked for the day's required hours (sort of). (ETA: No one dare do the words-per-hour math, you hear?) Next up is the hell of that Serengeti Extinction I mentioned already. Guess how many pages up on? Nine. That's right. Out of at-least-thirty. I'm not letting myself get worried about that yet, because I still have Big Bits to write, like the Serengeti things, and African wild dog social life stuff. (Honestly, you'd think I was writing Ze Big Book on AWD rather than a little Bigger Groups Are Better! paper.)

Mom's going to be skyping me in 30 minutes. She's re-emailed me the dance schools in Leiden and Den Haag, "for you mental health". *sigh* I'll sign up for the Hip Hop, I truly will. I just have to either a) fill out the form, which is in Dutch, on the internet or b) shimmy off to the school. I'd been thinking of going off there tomorrow, but damn it all, it's Good Friday. So, like, the worst day to try and do business transactions, yeah?

Also, I'd like the world to know that Kit-kat is my dearest muffin (a muffin who really ought to be on the internet more often). Honestly, between her email and lienne (my squishy!)'s ongoing support, I'd be so much worse off today. Hurrah for them, then! ♥

oh yeah, everywhere is closed tomorrow :S I had forgotten all about that too! Who knows, maybe you'll end up loving the hip hop :) I've always wanted to try that out!

Once I cross the pond, I too will be getting Skype... apparently using the phone is crazy expensive in Ireland, so everyone only ever Skypes ;) I'm going to have to figure out this "new-fangled technology" as a dear friend puts it.

Skype is incredibly easy to use. (It does sort of eat up bandwidth, though, so a good internet connection is preferred.)

I'm thinking since classes start at the beginning of September, I'll be coming over around mid-late August! I'll have to see when the international student orientation etc is going to be! And when I can get moved in to the student housing (at least for my first year- much cheaper than rent in Dublin :P)
