BATH, n. A kind of mystic ceremony*
Mar. 19th, 2008 04:42 pmYes! Yes! I'm cleeeeaaaaan! Aw man, we totally underappreciate the sensation of being squeaky clean. (As far as taking care of myself goes, that's pretty nifty. Lately it's just been food and some sort of mental stability, aka the mental and bodily coma of "buh, wha?". So yay, I say, yay.)
I might have the Anihilating the African Wild Dog: The How-To Guide section of my paper done soon. Well, the people-part of it, at least. Yay! I'm 16 hours behind in my work! Yay!
For the Seminar, I'm the second person to present. Now, I've got 3 mandatory papers to read for that, and they want us to do some three-ish articles extra, so that's a fair bit of work. Of course, there's the actual ppt presentation to set up. That's for the 7th, but I have to do the ready a week prior. Am feeling a bit squished and opressed at the thought of all that, but I will trudge on through. (Wow, don't I sound optimistic? Must be the clean.)
Also on the 7th? Mom. S'right. Mom's flying in. (Not for yours truly, but she's doing a stop-over to visit.) I keep being overly optimistic and thinking how that's going to be a wonderful and supportive and all sorts of squishy good time, but that never happens. Optimism, where are you now? (Mental linearity, I have none of it. Seriously, I'm all over the place.) What I mean is mom's coming over on her way to Spain and this is a good thing and etcetera.
Can't think anymore. Toodles.
ETA: Also? Not dead! Which considering the last two days is a feat in and of itself.
