I haven't started apartment hunting because I'm bloody terrified. It hasn't even been six months since I last ran around in a panic looking for a home. I never quite recovered from that little moment in hell. Sure, the logical part of me - and my mother - says that this isn't so bad. Yes, it's a terrible, terrible season for the apartment-market, but on the other hand, I have a place to stay while I'm looking, and I have a great deal more time. Lander Skyped yesterday and emailed a few available rooms, which was sweet. Still, both sleeping and waking hours are oft interrupted by random metaphorical punches in the gut. There I'll be, happily waltzing about, and then *bam* "zomg impending homelessness!". Damnit, I like my room.
As far as sociality goes, Elisa emailed saying she doesn't quite feel as sick as a dog anymore, so hopefully I'll be seeing her this week. There's a Valentines Party this Friday, and if she'll go, I will too. I need to see about signing up for the April dance class - regardles of where I'll be living - and see about some gym or pool or somethin'.
Today, I've printed out a relatively small, yet still substantial, number of articles. I'll be reading them, highlighting to my heart's content and making summaries. *sigh* I'm meeting my supervisor tomorrow, who took a week in replying about the forms, saying that basically my department supervisor thinks the student should know about the internship details. Not that that was ever my question. I simply wanted to talk to her about when we should schedule things like deadlines and presentations.
I also have a headache and the sniffles. I am less than pleased.
