bending_sickleThose three hours of sweat and toil are totally not getting done, and I'm horribly ok with that. May I mention that I'm a) starving, despite having had supper, and utterly lacking in snacks, and b) typing this with bandaids on two fingertips. Because putting on a bracelet with those metal thingies you have to squeeze open invariably leads to it getting under your fingernails and then there's ouch and pain and blood. Boo.
I read some 8 chapters of Kushiel's Chosen by JCarey after supper and my head's already swimming with names and plots. God, I so suck at intruigue. But I'm smitten with Joscelin and there's much angst, so all is good.
Mom's on Skype. I ought to msg. Although what I really want is to raid my fridge, snap my Bacardi Tropical Lemon Breezer - absolutely delicious and lalalaliqourlalaI'mntlistening - and squee over the Master.
Tomorrow I'm staying at home to work, and will try to squeeze in trips to a) the mall (new earphones necessary), b) the gym, for the checking-it-out of, and c) dance class for April's hip hop. Let's see if it turns out to be an all-of-the-above, none-of-the-above or a single letter answer.
Btw, yesterday I was reading Neil Gaiman's Four-and-Twenty Blackbirds - which I linked to - and realized a) Neil is awesome, b) I love Neil for being awesome, and c) he totally beat Jasper Fforde and his The Big Over-Easy by years.
