Other people are funnier
Mar. 22nd, 2006 06:22 pmTo those of you who are not acquainted with
darthmaligna, I say: you fools!
Anyway, she´s being quoted in this here entry for no real reason, so bugger off. From this entry.
3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include?
(Law & Order's Flying Circus) Oh my god. Okay, to start off, the victim would be a pepperpot killed with fresh fruit. The trail of clues would lead to a pet shop owner, several Gumbies, and a shrubber, but in the end it turns out that it was actually Dinsdale. At one point, Cragen would tell Munch that he has a vewy gweat fwiend at the Bwonx PD named "Biggus Dickus." A man on the street would inform Stabler that someone has just stolen his wallet, and Stabler would end up going back to his place. Dinsdale would try to make a run for the Canadian border before the trial, leading to a very long, elaborate, and totally impromptu discussion of train schedules at the precinct. Dinsdale is fortunately apprehended, and his entire trial is conducted via charades. Also, all the witnesses who commit perjury are thrown into the Gorge of Eternal Peril.
11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like and what would their role be?
NINJAS. It doesn't even matter what show is number six. NINJAS.

Strabucks = haven?
Mar. 22nd, 2006 06:54 pmApparently. Because I was over at the port and went to the Starbucks there, to their second floor, where they have soft sofas by a big window overlooking the port and sweet jazz music playing. For one brief shining moment I felt like I´d come home or something. So completely at ease it was amazing.
Then they played the "Halleluja" song and all was good. Everything felt perfect, even if it wasn´t really. Despite the trash on the floor, the misplaced sofa, the four cops (with two cars) arresting a young pothead...
Yes, that´s right. I saw someone get arrested. handcuffs, head-cradling into the car and all. Cop even slapped the cigarette out of the man´s hand when he kept on taking drags.
Even the song saying, "I´m in a sad mood tonight" made me happy.
And then, oh and then they put a Johnny Cash song. The world was awesome for two hours.
There were three brits (two girls) talking and then dozing. Two german girls talking to my left. An indian pair of girls talking behind me. I felt like the world around me made sense, because it was so multi-cultural and yet completely North American.
I even wrote one short essay for French. Not the really hard ones about communicatin and nationality (or, in my case, lack of). Those will not be fun to write, at at least I can´t say I have nothing to say.
