You horrible ball! Why? Why? Why?*

The rest of today went by alright. I worked for a bit, had lunch with a side-order of Lost, then went out to explore the southern part of my neighbourhood. There's a ginormous conglomeration of parks there, and I might take up running there. Of course, life being as it is, I walked too far ("turn left at canal" is quite vague for mental-map directions here) and by the time I turned back, it was too dark for a stroll through a park.
I then checked out the web pages mom'd sent about salsa classes and found out that a) I'd much rather take hip hop and b) they all started over three weeks ago. On the plus side, I emailed folk (2) and also emailed the badminton club for info, as well as the theatre group. I have absolutely no desire to act but hey, maybe it'll work. Or I could be a stage hand. Either way, that would give me something to do one day of the week (I figure - I have no idea how they work) and then Sunday for recreational badmintoning - badminting? - leaves...ooh, a shitload of empty space and time to fill up, but it's a start.
Talked to mom, which was a rollercoaster, minutes-long silence included. Another battleplan was drawn up. Tomorrow I'm going to get info at the Leiden gym, hound my supervisor for the forms, and some other stuff I can't recall. Oh, and work. Work first, actually.
My highlight of the day? Lost mobisode 11, because Jin was hilarious. Even though if I thought about it seriously I could invariably get incredibly miserable because damn, that's one tough cookie. Oh, but I laughed and laughed and it was shiny to do so.
Speaking of, apart from my geektastic idea for a cake platter decoration ("So my choice is, "Or death?"), I've now decided that, should I ever have a cookie jar, it'll have two quotes, one on either side. One would say, "i can haz cookie," the other, "i made u a cookie, but i eated it" My awesome, you may bask in it.
