I don't have a TV, and haven't since 2001. (Oh, Buddha, that's a long while ago.) Apart from the occasional TV session when over at my folks', I've been using the internet to keep in touch with TV shows. It's been working out well, especially back in Barcelona - where I did have a TV, but never watched it, except for ages old House - where Victor or Kyra would lend me DVDs (Lost, Heroes and Queer as Folk, plus a smatering of Bones).

I'm all caught up on fandoms I'm active in (largely through the grace of cancelations or writer's strikes). However, I'm waaaaay behind on CSI: Las Vegas. (Like, seasons and seasons.) I think I'm two seasons behind Bones. I have no idea where I am on House, but I think it's still season 1.

My being caught up on Lost, I gather, is subject to change very, very shortly.

Generally I'm pretty ok with being out of the loop on those three. I mean, I greatly enjoy CSI and was getting to like Bones (look! David's not broody-mc-boody for once!). House is snuggable.

Scrubs is something I'm going to have to seriously look into.

I was ok with snagging an occasional episode now and then, alhough frustratingly, I always caught an episode I'd actually watched, which, really, karma? What have I done to you? However, I read comments about actors I'm keen on watching being guests on these shows, and more often than not totally fail to catch the episode. Alan Tudyk was on one of those somewhere, and luckily I caught the House ep where BtVS's Andrew shows up. Aaand I've read that Queer as Folk's Brian was on some hospital thingy - maybe House, maybe Grey's Anatomy.

Ok, it's upsetting that I miss these performances.

But people! Why didn't anyone tell me Summer Glau was in an ep of CSI?!?

I need to do so much tracking-down-of-episodes, it's ridiculous.

Also? Preliminary search failed - utterly failed - to bring up anything resembling SonoTORIous. Why?!?

I'm also curious as to what John Simm's been busying himself with these days. Oi, lanky! Get back on-screen! Forget about theatre! Have a talking-to with David Tennant while you're at it! Keep him away from theatre too! ETA: *phew* He's back in cinema, Tuesday, and a TV show out in 2012 (the mind boggles, it really does).

And now I'm going to bed. 1:30 am. *sigh*

ETA: The Time Traveler's Wife movie coming out in June! *squee*
