bending_sickle | Now I feel a little better, What a treat to hear Thy word*

I'm pretty dead to the world right now - except for the stabitty stabs of pain in my stomach, which I'm trying to tame with hot camomille. If the herb don't it, the boiling hot water will.

But I have a few delightful things to report:

1) Life sucketh not so greatly. Forsooth, my friends are dear to me. Hear that peeps? Frickin' dear!

2) Tea with Elisa: We (Elisa, her roomie possibly-named-Laura-but-I-am-terrible-at-names and myself) went to the V&D store and checked out Sinterklaas (aka Dutch!Santa) - must get Elisa to email pics - and wandered about a few stores. Then there was the tea, amidst much discussion over which celebrity I should dress up as for the so-themed part on Friday. (Audrey Hepburn is the top, and most doable, choice.) Seeing as I live in Den Haag (and the party starts 'round 11 pm - I am told this is normal party times, but I am skeptical**), Elisa is being a doll and letting me crash at her place.

3) I have forgotten 3. I have lost 3. It's been eaten by giant rats with - oh, yeah. I remember. I've been giddy with joy today (well, giddy, but like a dancing little Dutch boy with his finger in a dyke*** - but the point is, there is a damn! And it's not leaking!). Not even Forget You Had a Daughter could bring me down. I just keep bursting into happy little smiles because, let's face it, people**** are awesome.

Also, the words "phone sex" and "Mylar" have been used in conjunction. *grin*

4) I again fail to email professors, but that's ok 'cause it's 11:57 and I am le tired.

ETA: I'm useing the loved mood icon! I never thought I'd see the day! I need sleep! It's too hot! I have a headache! Make me stoooop! *collapse* I hates Tuesdays/Thursdays like Plague of Frog. Stupid schedule.
