I'm no where near all-packed. Finding hostel beds kinda whupped me good. Still two-nights short.
Tomorrow, just after noon, we three adventurers (Uncle, Aunt and I) will be heading off to Burgos. Gran's doing very poorly. I'm glad I get to see mom though. (Although I know she's stressed and that isn't going to result in a good mother-daughter relationships. She's high-strung, and I mean high strung.)
Have a few things piled that I'm taking to mom. Some in case she can drop them off when she does her flight transfer via Amsterdam, like my comforter and boots, some she'll be keeping for good, like my much-abused McGill Diploma.
Am very, very sleepy. Have finished reading ReEragon and recommend highly.
Do not look forward to tomorrow's packing. Or what the end of the day will bring. *sigh* Tough times, people, any which way you look.

Date: 2007-08-10 12:49 am (UTC)packing's a beast. i hate it even when it's just for a few days spent away, but there are few things i loathe more than moving out of an entire apartment. it causes me despair and nervous breakdowns.
that said, it always DOES get done, even though it seems like it will never happen. so in the words of popular music, "live through this, and we won't look back." it WILL be done. and won't that rock?
though thinking of that doesn't always help when one is in the midst of a packing-induced decline.
i love you, and am thinking of you, my dear.
