Indeed the deadline was May 15th, but if you could send your
application to me before next Tuesday 29th, I can still apply for a room for you at the accommodation office.
Which means that today, after swimming - ugh, says I - I'm filling out the application, or as much as I can without Internet and thus any iea of what sort of accomodations I might prefer. The application would then be emailed tomorrow, posted hopefully Friday but most probably express on Monday.
I so wish I were the type to drink, 'cause man, there'd be a total Strawberry Daiquiri celebration goin' on.
Alas, I have no Daiquiri. *pout* Or Sex on the Beach. *double-pout*
I'm pretty certain I haven't mentioned my Facebook account, mainly because I still have no idea what exactly to do with it. The wierdest thing is that I'll get "x wants to friend you" messages from people I hardly remember, or who have totally failed to keep in touch, or I don't even know.
And it doesn't give me the same "squee, friends!" feeling that I'd get if random LJ users friended me. (Which they don't. Suckety. I seriously have to get out more. Not, y'know, out out, but into other comms, commenting and posting and all that jazzy stuff.) LJ seems just so much friendlier than Facebook. Maybe I'm not using FB right, but then, it's not like I ever had to use LJ "right" to get to the cool stuff.
