The rest is kinda bumpy.*
Mar. 22nd, 2007 11:35 amYou may have noticed that I'm not talking a lot about current life events. That's because Good times < Bad times.
No word from me about the time I may spend with my mom. Possible because you may not want to read about incessant criticising, berating and judging. (There's been a lot of that.)
Or about how I felt yesterday when trying on (and occasionally, trying to try on) various pants. Sometimes I just look down at my body and say, "Where the hell did you come from?"
Or about my brother, who called mom a while back, saying he'd call me, and has as yet failed to do so.
I'd rather just have amnesia about it all. Emotional-amnesia would also be nice, but I'll take what I can get.
Where the fuck are those supportive, caring, loving parents and siblings you hear about on TV and in books? Where?
One day, some day, I'll grow up and be my own fabulous independent person with an actual life worth its salt. Till then, it all sucketh.
Links of the day:
Revolting-Appearing Foods Potluck galleries, particularly the tasty tampons. WARNING: If you are easily put off of food by disgusting analogies, stay away. This means YOU, Kit-kat. You have been warned.
Whiskey, You're the Devil Irish (or Celtic) traditional drinking song.
Stardust website up and running.
